Small groups. Real attention.

Big classes make it easy to fall behind quietly. With 2–6 students in a group, you can ask questions, get feedback on your own working, and actually keep up.

  • Live online classes with a shared digital whiteboard
  • A small group at your level, matched by subject and year
  • A recording of every session, so missing one isn't a problem
  • Notes and practice questions from a library built by top-scoring students
  • Resources from 50 study scorers in every subject, plus a big bank of English essays
  • A head start on next year's content, so you walk into Term 1 confident
A typical session
  • 5 min · Quick check-in and questions from last time
  • 25 min · New concept, worked through step by step on the whiteboard
  • 25 min · Practice questions together, with feedback as you go

Scholarships

How the scholarships work.

These are one-time launch scholarships. I'm choosing six students: 1 full scholarship (the whole course free) and 5 partial scholarships ($200 off, so $349 instead of $549).

1

Apply as normal

Every Summer Head Start application is automatically considered. There's no separate form and no box to tick.

2

Tell me why you

The form asks why you're motivated and why I should pick you. A few honest sentences is plenty.

3

I choose six students

After applications close on Tuesday 10 November, I'll pick 1 full and 5 partial scholarship winners and contact everyone with their group details.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is the course fully online?

Yes. Every class is a live video session with a shared digital whiteboard. All you need is a laptop or tablet and a stable internet connection.

What if I miss a session?

Every session is recorded, so you can catch up in your own time and bring any questions to the next class.

How big are the groups?

Between 2 and 6 students. That's small enough to ask questions and get feedback on your own working every session.

Which year level should I choose?

The year you'll be in during 2027. The course is a head start on next year's content.

Can I do more than one subject?

Yes. Tick every subject you're interested in on the application. Each subject runs as its own group, and I'll confirm the timetable and details with you directly.

When do I pay?

Once your place is confirmed. It's one payment for all 12 sessions: $549, or $349 with a partial scholarship.

Do I need to apply for a scholarship separately?

No. Every application is automatically considered. Just answer the scholarship question on the form: why you're motivated, and why I should pick you.

Will scholarships be offered again?

Not as a regular thing. These are one-time launch scholarships for the first Summer Head Start, so this is the time to apply.

What happens after the course?

If you'd like to keep going, weekly 1-on-1 tutoring is available from February 2027.
